Today many local rampant viruses that have the ability to spread themselves automatically with flash media spread through the Autorun feature (to run a file automatically when the user access to a user when connecting the drive or removable disk). It is worth we to look, as the most current virus has this ability. This virus maker intentionally uses the autorun feature is available to implement the virus in the Flash Disk. Who apparently used this loophole to their virus can spread more quickly than ever before and so far the gap is still used by a virus that can spread itself automatically without having to wait for the user to run the virus file manually. Simply by accessing the Flash Disk into the computer, the virus will instantly infect.

In order for this virus can be active at any time the virus will usually make every script included in the media Floppy Drive / Flash Disk. Autorun.inf / desktop.ini or Folder.htt are some scripts that would normally be made by the virus.

This script actually contained a series of commands that the point is to run the virus file itself and is usually the master file will be placed in the folder/directory of the same, so that the file is not suspected by the user then the script and the master file will be hidden. Examples of viruses that “success” to spread itself in this way include W32/Askis, W32/VBWorm.ZL, VBWorm.MOS, W32/Aksika, W32/FaceCool or W32/Solow.

Obviously, we do not want to flash the computer and we have not contracted the virus that utilizes this way. For the precaution was necessary to turn off (disable) function Autorun / Autoplay on the Removable Drive.
